Splash Pad Fun!

Today we are heading to the splash pad down at the park with our moms meetup group and we cannot wait! We have been packing our swimmy suits and snacks for the adventure and now just finishing up a cup of coffee to get me through the morning and then we are off!!

I am planning to take the good camera and just try to keep it dry! Fingers crossed!! I would just hate to miss this. It should be 14 mamas and 14 babies and a whole lot of fun!

Oh what fun!! We had a great time running through the water! The water itself was quite cold but in the sun it was at least real warm. We ran in and out and over and under all the different water spouts and laughed and splashed! We had a great time meeting with the other moms and babies too! Got some fun pics! The camera survived!! Score 1 for mama! After some good splashing about, we went and had a lovely picnic under the trees and visited! What a great morning and makings of hopefully a great nap!

Mama's Day Pics!

Here they are! some fun little pics of us on Mother's day!
We had a wonderful day! I got treated to brunch at one of my favorite spots and had a ham egg and cheddar croissant sandwich with orange juice! yumm! Then as we were leaving the restaurant to go home, Logan fell asleep so we decided to not wake him and take a lovely drive all around the lake! We stopped in Marble Falls for a coffee plus a snack for Logan once he woke up. finishing up our drive back home to a fun splash around in the pool at the gym, Logan loved it too! what a water baby! Then a bit of lounging in the hammock and a lovely dinner! A perfect day!

Water Park Fun!!

So yesterday we drove past the park and saw that the water park had been turned on!! We decided that we needed to come back and play very soon. Well, this morning we dropped Dodge off at doggie day camp and on the way home thought oh, I'm sure its too early for water, but we will play on the swings in the park before heading home. Imagine our excitement when we pulled in to the lot and it was on!!

I pulled out my ever handy bath towel from the back of the car (yes I carry one around at all times along with a great many other things!) and a change of clothes for logan took him out of his pants, 'cuz we all know that would just be one more soaked item ;) and off we went to play in the water!!!

Happy Easter 2011!!

Here are some great pics of the Easter weekend!!
We did brunch with our good friends Jen and Troy at Z-Tejas out on the patio and had such a fun time!! Great friends, food and mimosas!

Then we did a BBQ with Nanny and Grandpa in the afternoon with lots of water play and fetch for the puppy.
